• K-12 Project Architect

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Architect to lead the design and execution of K-12 educational projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique needs of educational environments, strong leadership skills, and a collaborative mindset.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lead the design and documentation of K-12 school projects from concept through construction administration.

    + Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure design excellence and project success.

    + Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

    + Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and educational facility guidelines.

    + Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.

    + Participate in client presentations, community meetings, and stakeholder engagement sessions.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.

    + Licensed Architect (or on licensure track with significant progress).

    + 7+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years focused on K-12 projects.

    + Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with 3D modeling and visualization tools is a plus.

    + Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and educational design standards.

    + Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with LEED, WELL, or other sustainable design certifications.

    + Familiarity with state and local educational facility requirements and funding processes.

    + Bilingual abilities are a plus, especially in communities with diverse populations.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $53.00/hr.
