We are seeking a talented Mechanical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating 3D models of equipment, designing sheet metal parts using SolidWorks, and developing comprehensive manufacturing packages. This role requires close collaboration with the engineering team to ensure accuracy in designs and documentation. The candidate should manage and process revisions, drawings, and bill of materials effectively, demonstrating strong mechanical aptitude and abstract thinking.
Responsibilities
+ Create 3D models of equipment.
+ Design sheet metal parts using SolidWorks.
+ Develop manufacturing packages, including shop drawings and assembly instructions.
+ Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure accurate designs and documentation.
+ Manage, process, and update revisions, drawings, and bill of materials.
+ Exhibit strong mechanical aptitude and abstract reasoning skills.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in SolidWorks.
+ Experience in 2D & 3D CAD modeling.
+ Ability to create blueprints and drawings for manufacturing packages.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with sheet metal design is a plus.
Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
