Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our plant's engineering team. This role involves working with a variety of manufacturing processes, including Cold Forming, Annealing, Machining, Heat Treating, and Finishing. You will be responsible for utilizing modern equipment, such as anodizers, paint systems, zinc plating lines, and phoscoat lines, to produce metal stock of all types and shapes.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee manufacturing processes involving materials such as Brass, Aluminum, and Steel.
+ Operate and maintain modern equipment, including anodizers, paint systems, and plating lines.
+ Conduct machining on advanced equipment designed for various metal stocks.
+ Participate actively on the manufacturing floor, providing hands-on support.
+ Implement and optimize heat treating and anodizing processes.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
+ Bachelor's degree in an Engineering-related field.
+ At least 1 year of experience with metals and their properties.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Background in CNC machine operation is desirable.
Work Environment
The work environment consists of a dynamic plant that manufactures casings and shells for government use. You will be part of a team of manufacturing engineers, with two currently on-site and two additional engineers being sought for floor operations. The role requires a hands-on approach, spending approximately 50% of the time on the floor. The team previously focused on entry-level candidates but is now seeking individuals with more experience to expedite training and operational efficiency.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.60 - $40.00/hr.
