Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design EngineerJob Description
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, contributing to the development of high-quality conveyors and aggregate equipment. We are seeking an experienced individual to enhance our mechanical design capabilities and support our continued growth.
Responsibilities
+ Design and develop mechanical systems and components for conveyors and aggregate equipment.
+ Utilize AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks for creating detailed 3D models and solid modeling designs.
+ Collaborate with the design team to ensure high-quality designs and prompt delivery of equipment.
+ Conduct tests and evaluations of designs using SolidWorks to ensure functionality and efficiency.
+ Work closely with other designers and the manager to maintain a cohesive and innovative design process.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in mechanical design, machine design, AutoCAD 2D, and SolidWorks.
+ Experience in 3D modeling and solid modeling.
+ SolidWorks experience is mandatory.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Background in designing conveyors is advantageous but not required.
Work Environment
The work environment includes a dedicated team of three designers and a manager, fostering collaboration and innovation. The role is based in a newly constructed facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology and equipment. The team is committed to growth and will provide additional resources, including a new SolidWorks seat, to support the development of our engineers. Interviews will be conducted onsite, where candidates will demonstrate their SolidWorks proficiency through a practical test.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
