    Job Title: Accounts Receivable SpecialistJob Description

     

    This position will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accounting records, verifying financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

    Responsibilities

    + Complete entries in QuickBooks accurately

    + Manage Accounts Receivable and assist with Accounts Payable as needed

    + Research discrepancies in numbers and implement corrections

    + Maintain and improve internal financial controls

    + Assist with invoicing

    + Assist with purchasing and submit Purchase Orders

    + Assist with Administrative Assistant duties such as answering the phone and guest check-in as needed

    + Filing

    Essential Skills

    + Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred

    + 3 years of accounting experience preferred

    + High Mathematical Aptitude

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with accounts payable and receivable

    + Experience with invoicing

    Work Environment

    Small office with fewer than 5 employees where everyone covers for their partners. The hours are typically from 8am-5:00pm Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
