    Hiring Paving Laborer in East Stroudsburg - Start ASAP

     

    Pay $21-$24/hr

    Job Description

    Physically assisting a paving crew with tasks like preparing surfaces, operating hand and power tools, and maintaining tools and equipment. May also assist with traffic control and may be responsible for tasks like shoveling, raking, and wheelbarrow operation.

    Responsibilities

    + Surface Preparation: Assist with preparing surfaces for asphalt installation, including digging, removing old asphalt, and preparing the ground for paving.

    + Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools like shovels, rakes, tampons, and other tools used in paving.

    + Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and supplies.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in construction, paving, or blacktop sealing.

    + Comfortable with long hours on hot days.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Prior paving experience is a huge plus.

    + Experience with blacktop sealing or cold patching is highly desirable.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
