    Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician | $25-$30/HR

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift (12:00am-8:30am) in Canton, OH. The role involves performing machine repair, facilities maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance, particularly within a plastic extrusion environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform machine repair and facilities maintenance.

    + Troubleshoot, repair, and install machinery and equipment related to plastic extrusion.

    + Work with 480v, single and three-phase power, VFDs, sensors, switches, AC/DC motors, and relays.

    + Complete projects collaboratively, handing off progress to the next shift.

    + Identify and troubleshoot faulty parts and machines using OHMS Law, voltage, series-parallel circuits, contactors, fuses, DC/AC drives.

    + Operate towmotor safely and maintain efficient machine operation.

    + Repair machines, conduct preventative maintenance, and maintain all electrical components.

    Essential Skills

    + Industrial Maintenance experience.

    + Experience with industrial electricity, including 480v, single and three-phase power.

    + Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

    + Ability to work with pneumatics, hydraulics, injection mold, extrusion, and welding.

    + PLC troubleshooting and schematic interpretation skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Ability to develop positive working relationships.

    + Experience in the plastics industry.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a 160,000 sq. ft. plastic extrusion facility with a total of 60 employees, including 6 professional and well-spoken technicians. While the environment can be mildly dirty at times, efforts are made to keep the plant clean. The role requires flexibility to work 40-45 hours per week, with potential overtime if a machine goes down, ensuring all hands on deck to get equipment running. Dress attire includes jeans, t-shirt, and steel toe boots.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $62400.00/yr.
