    Job Title: Carpenter

    Job Description

    Join our team as a carpenter, where you will work on new construction projects, focusing on the development and renovation of commercial and industrial properties. This role involves building erection of pre-engineered and wood-framed structures, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety protocols.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform building erection of pre-engineered and wood-framed buildings.

    + Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and protocols.

    + Install roofing, siding, insulation, and flashing.

    + Identify and resolve issues or obstacles during the construction process.

    + Work outdoors in variable weather conditions.

    + Mentor and train new team members.

    + Demonstrate strong attention to detail, building structures as if they were your own.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in finish carpentry and construction.

    + Experience as a carpenter and farm hand.

    + Skilled with nail guns and framing techniques.

    + Ability to work with insulation, steel framing, and wood framing.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Tenure in carpentry, roofing, concrete, sheet metal, and building erecting.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The role is based in the surrounding market area, with projects across the state requiring additional rough carpenters upon project completion. The position operates in 5-6 man crews for each skill set and reports to a Site Superintendent. Work involves primarily outdoor tasks, with some interior work, offering consistent opportunities for those willing to travel.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kaukauna, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $35.00/hr.
