Lab Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Lab Technician responsible for conducting various lab tests and analyzing samples, ensuring meticulous record-keeping while adhering to strict laboratory standards.
Responsibilities
+ Perform various lab tests and analyze samples.
+ Maintain accurate records and adhere to strict lab standards.
+ Prepare samples for analysis by weighing, diluting, and mixing according to established procedures.
+ Operate analytical instruments, mainly High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).
+ Conduct analytical analysis.
+ Perform wet chemistry tests including viscosity, titration, pH measurements, etc.
+ Collaborate with scientists to develop analytical methods.
+ Execute sample preparation and reference sample preparation.
+ Prepare sample solutions for scientific experiments.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in chemistry and quality control procedures.
+ Knowledge in laboratory practices and wet chemistry.
+ Experience in lab testing and analytical chemistry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Science with completed courses in General Chemistry I and II, including labs.
+ Basic understanding of laboratory equipment.
+ Preferred experience in a lab setting outside of academic environments.
Work Environment
The role will be primarily based in a laboratory setting, offering a long-term contract with exposure to diverse tests and R&D projects.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
