    Job Title: Survey Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Survey Technician to conduct construction staking, topographic boundary, and ALTA surveys. You will oversee a two-person crew, providing on-the-job training and conducting daily site visits while organizing and maintaining survey job files. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field staff to support project objectives and address survey-related challenges, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and procedures.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct construction staking, topographic boundary, and ALTA surveys.

    + Oversee and train a two-person crew.

    + Perform daily site visits.

    + Organize and maintain survey job files.

    + Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field staff.

    + Follow safety protocols and procedures.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 2+ years of land surveying experience.

    + Proficiency in construction staking, ALTA, boundary, and construction staking surveys.

    + Proficiency in GPS, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD.

    + Strong organizational and communication skills.

    + Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to become a crew chief within 1-2 years.

    + Experience working with total stations, Trimble GPS, Topcon, Leica, and Carlson software.

    + Knowledge in boundary survey software and utility locating.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
