Front Office Medical Assistant – Plano, TX
Overview:
We are looking for a Front Office Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Plano, TX. This role is ideal for someone who excels in patient interaction, administrative support, and medical office operations. Responsibilities:
+ Greet patients and assist with check-in/check-out procedures.
+ Schedule and manage appointments, ensuring efficient workflow.
+ Verify insurance information and handle prior authorizations.
+ Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) with accuracy and confidentiality.
+ Answer phone calls, provide patient support, and coordinate office communication.
+ Assist providers with medical documentation and basic clinical tasks as needed.
+ Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain a clean, organized office space.
Qualifications:
+ Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) preferred.
+ Previous experience in front office medical administration or healthcare support.
+ Strong customer service and communication skills.
+ Proficiency in EMR systems, scheduling software, and insurance verification.
+ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical setting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
