    Quality Control Lab Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated QC Lab Technician to join our team and contribute to our quality control processes. You will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and quality of our products by handling the analysis and documentation of various samples.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of incoming samples including pre-purchase, raw material, work-in-progress, and finished products.

    + Prepare and standardize chemical reagents used in laboratory processes.

    + Serve as the primary operator for GC-FID analysis on submitted samples.

    + Sample incoming products in accordance with documented GMPs and written protocols.

    + Conduct compressed gas inventories and alert the Quality Control Manager when usage exceeds expectations.

    + Assist the Quality Control Manager in developing, documenting, and executing new methodologies to meet evolving analytical needs.

    + Perform regular internal inventories of parts, reagents, and supplies for re-ordering purposes.

    + Assist in composing analytical documentation such as Certificates of Analysis.

    + Perform scheduled calibrations of designated laboratory instrumentation.

    + Review and validate GC component data and assist in data entry for analyzed samples.

    + Develop informed organoleptic evaluation capabilities for any submitted FCC products.

    + Collect, label, and store retain quantities for all submitted samples.

    + Perform other duties as directed and appropriate.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Chemistry and laboratory practices.

    + Experience in Quality Control and Gas Chromatography analysis.

    + Strong analytical chemistry skills.

    + Understanding of Quality Assurance protocols.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + BS degree in a field of physical science.

    + One year of related laboratory experience is preferred.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
