Job Title: Production Quality Engineer (Inspection)Job Description
The Production Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of products throughout the manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished goods. This role involves inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure they meet quality specifications and regulatory requirements. The engineer plays a key role in identifying and resolving quality issues, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
+ Implement and maintain quality control plans and procedures to ensure products meet standards.
+ Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
+ Identify and resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
+ Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
Essential Skills
+ Quality engineering expertise.
+ Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
+ Strong knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
+ Inspection optimization skills.
+ MSA/TMV remediation knowledge.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related field.
+ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certifications may be preferred.
+ 1-2 years of experience for Level I and 3-5 years of experience for Level II.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Work Environment
This role is based onsite and requires working independently with minimal supervision. The position offers 2 weeks of PTO and 10 paid holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
