    Responsibilities

    + Design mechanical layouts for transformers, ensuring precision and reliability

    + Verify and update programs to maintain design accuracy and efficiency

    + Provide technical expertise and training to colleagues and stakeholders

    + Assist in development projects, refining standard processes and improving procedures

    + Work closely with manufacturing teams to address shop-floor challenges and optimize designs

    Qualifications

    + 3+ years of experience in mechanical design for motors, generators, switchgears, or electromechanical products

    + Proficiency in Creo/Pro-E for 3D modeling and design optimization

    + Strong problem-solving skills in calculating dimensions, allowances, and specifications

    + Ability to train and support cross-functional teams with technical expertise

    + An Associate Degree in Mechanical Design or a related field

    Work Environment

    + Blend of office and on-site manufacturing—direct interaction with shop-floor teams

    + Exposure to low-volume, high-mix production cycles with hands-on collaboration

    + Work in an innovative and problem-solving setting, shaping industry-leading transformer designs

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

     

    Union environment on the floor-good profit sharing and tenure-management have been there 21 years +

    This is a fully onsite position in Waukesha,WI.
