HVAC/R Technician – Keep Supermarket Systems Running Smoothly!
**Are you a skilled HVAC/R Facilities Engineer** ready to take on an essential role? We’re looking for a **dedicated professional** to maintain, inspect, and repair **supermarket HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems** to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• **Your Responsibilities:**
• Perform **preventative maintenance and repair work** on HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Keep **mechanical and production equipment** operating efficiently
• Conduct **facility inspections** and report on conditions affecting client occupancy
• Maintain **refrigerant inventories** and ensure compliance with all **safety procedures**
• Follow and enforce **local ordinances, codes, and laws**
• Utilize **CMMS systems like Corrigo** to log work and updates in real time
• Perform **vehicle safety inspections** and escalate any issues promptly
• Attend **work and safety meetings** and stay up to date on required trainings
• **What You Bring to the Table:**
• **4+ years** of experience in **HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment maintenance**
• Strong knowledge of **overall system design and applications**
• Excellent **customer service and interpersonal skills**
• Working knowledge of **computer applications like Word and Excel**
• **EPA 1 & 2 certification** (Universal preferred)
• **Work Environment:**
• Be prepared for **lifting up to 80 lbs** , working at **heights** , and frequently **climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, and overhead work**
• Work in **extreme heat or cold conditions** and handle **long drive times** as part of your duties
• Climb **ladders up to 30 feet** while carrying **a tool bag weighing approximately 20 lbs**
• Availability for **call-in work and emergency repairs**

This **HVAC/R Technician** position is based in **Indianapolis, Indiana** , where you’ll play a **critical role in maintaining essential supermarket systems** .
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $40.00/hr.
