    Job Description

    As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food manufacturing lines. Your primary responsibilities will include performing preventive maintenance on packaging equipment, conveyors, rollers, and three-phase motors, with a focus on apple products.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform preventive maintenance on packaging equipment, conveyors, rollers, and three-phase motors.

    + Diagnose mechanical issues and repair production equipment using hand tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers.

    + Ensure all machinery operates efficiently and safely.

    + Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.

    + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

    Essential Skills

    + 2-3+ years of maintenance experience in a production environment.

    + Proficiency in mechanical repair and preventive maintenance.

    + Experience working with hand tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in the food, beverage, or packaging industry is preferred but not required.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in a cold room environment maintained at 40-45 degrees. Join a team of 6-8 maintenance professionals within a plant that supports over 80 production workers and warehouse associates. Safety shoes are provided by the company. Work hours start at 6 a.m. or 7 a.m. depending on the day, Monday through Friday, with the expectation of working several Saturdays per month as the schedule progresses.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
