    Job Title: Physician Assistant – NeuroHospitalist (Inpatient, 7on/7off)

    **Location:** Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple, TX

    **Schedule:** Full-time, Inpatient, 7 Days On / 7 Days Off

    **Setting:** Single Site, In-Person Only

    Position Summary:

    Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple is seeking a **Physician Assistant (PA)** to join our dynamic and collaborative **NeuroHospitalist team** . This is a **hospital-based** position working a **7on/7off** schedule that offers exposure to a wide spectrum of neurological conditions in an advanced clinical environment.

     

    You will work alongside supervising physicians, residents, and multidisciplinary teams including NeuroICU, Neurosurgery, and the Stroke team. While a background in **neuroscience ICU, stroke, or neurohospitalist care** is preferred, we also **welcome new graduates** eager to pursue a career in inpatient neurology. The position offers hands-on learning, including the **opportunity to train in procedures like lumbar punctures** .

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Provide high-level inpatient care for patients with complex neurological conditions

    + Collaborate closely with physicians, residents, and specialty teams

    + Participate in rounds, care planning, and patient management

    + Perform or train in procedures such as lumbar punctures

    + Contribute to clinical research, if interested

    + Maintain consistent 7on/7off scheduling

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program

    + EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience

    CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION

    + Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.

    + Physician Assistants (PA): Must have a PA license through the state of TX.
