We are currently seeking a strategic, operationally-minded, and mission-driven Administrative Director to lead and advance the work of Andwell Medical Partners, a growing and evolving network of physician-led services integrated within our organization. This position plays a critical leadership role in the future of home and community healthcare throughout the region.
About the Role
As a member of the Senior Management Team, the Administrative Director of Andwell Medical Partners is responsible for the oversight, strategy, performance, and growth of our medically-oriented service lines, including physician practices, NP-led services, and audiology. This leader will work closely with the Chief Medical Officer and clinical dyad leaders to align operational performance with the organization’s mission, regulatory demands, and long-term vision.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Planning
+ Serve as a trusted advisor and key partner to the Chief Medical Officer and senior clinical leaders in aligning strategic direction with organizational goals.
+ Translate market trends, performance metrics, and regulatory requirements into actionable strategic and operational plans.
+ Lead business development initiatives in collaboration with Marketing, Strategy, and Business Innovation teams to grow volume, expand services, and increase community impact.
Operational & Program Management
+ Oversee daily operations across provider-based services, including scheduling, capacity management, patient access, and provider engagement.
+ Manage service line performance related to quality, productivity, financials, compliance, and patient experience.
+ Collaborate with Finance to develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets in alignment with strategic priorities.
Performance, Quality, and Compliance
+ Partner with Quality, HR, and Clinical Dyad leaders to establish and maintain systems that ensure regulatory readiness and drive continuous improvement across programs.
+ Implement metrics-based monitoring systems to assess clinical, operational, and financial performance across markets.
+ Lead process improvement and change management initiatives using data to inform decisions and address underperformance.
Team & Culture Development
+ Directly supervise administrative and back-office personnel supporting provider practices.
+ Build a culture of engagement, accountability, and belonging across service lines—promoting Andwell’s values of Integrity, Excellence, Compassion, Innovation, and Community.
+ Collaborate with Recruitment and HR to forecast workforce needs, drive recruitment strategy, and create a compelling value proposition for clinical and administrative talent.
Governance & Collaboration
+ Represent Andwell Medical Partners on the Senior Management Team, contributing to system-wide decision-making.
+ Foster cross-functional collaboration between clinical, operational, financial, and strategic teams.
+ Serve as a liaison between Andwell Medical Partners and internal shared services to ensure service delivery excellence.
QualificationsEducation:
+ Bachelor’s degree required.
+ Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field strongly preferred.
+ Advanced training or certifications in change management, project management, data analytics, or process improvement are desirable.
Experience:
+ Minimum of 4 years in healthcare operations within a physician or medically oriented practice environment.
+ At least 2 years in practice management or administrative leadership with full accountability for operational performance.
+ Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a matrixed organization is preferred.
+ Demonstrated success in performance improvement, change leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Competencies:
+ Strategic thinking with the ability to manage execution and performance across diverse service lines.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Power BI; familiarity with healthcare data systems is a plus.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust with internal teams, partners, and external stakeholders.
+ Deep knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, financial operations in healthcare, and regulatory compliance.
+ Ability to navigate complex systems and lead organizational change with creativity and resilience.
