Senior Manager - Sourcing

As a Senior Manager - Sourcing you will be focused on researching, analyzing and evaluating the best and least expensive sources (vendors, manufacturers and suppliers) of goods and services. You will negotiate the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) product costs and/or services with approved suppliers.
Responsibilities:
+ Ensure cost competitiveness and service level improvement for customers, capitalizing on synergies and drawing on internal and external resources to align priorities and interests. Responsible for commodities and categories as assigned
+ Implement efficient strategies and processes to facilitate transactional and strategic buying activities to ensure adequate supplies and services are available at the lowest total cost of ownership.
+ Manages and leads new initiatives that require significant cross functional teamwork. Handles program definition, resourcing, issue escalation, budget, risk management and delivery.
+ Promote Supply Chain, Legal, Risk Management, Safety & Sustainability rules, policies and procedures and serve as a liaison between respective groups to execute purchases, contracts, and/or agreements yielding the lowest total cost of ownership.
+ Possesses extensive business, technical, and procedural knowledge to manage a Supply Chain Analyst(s) and to application development team.
+ Formulate key metrics associated with: cost, quality, reliability, availability; working capital efficiency, staff development, and cross-enterprise collaboration.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or business related field required.
+ 6 years required, 8 years preferred of relevant experience utilizing best practice category management and strategic sourcing processes to improve the cost, quality, and service level of direct and indirect materials and services.
+ 6 years required, 8 years preferred experience of actively support Safety and Sustainability Partner with plant, business and functional Purchasing leadership.
+ 6 years required, 8 years preferred of practical problem-solving approach to business issues, business-minded, results-oriented, and a team player.
+ 6 years required, 8 years preferred of strong collaboration with business operations and functional groups.
+ 6 years required, 8 years preferred experience of exhibiting excellent communication, leadership and presentation skills.
+ 10 years or more experience overseeing the design and implementation of a strategic sourcing function transformation, including strategy, organization, processes, and technology.
+ 8 years’ experience required influencing individuals and teams with or without reporting relationships.
+ 5 years’ experience of ERP systems’ exposure.
+ 5 years’ experience of solid knowledge and support of Procure 2 Pay processes.
