    Job Summary

    As a Collections Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting customers through financial difficulties by managing delinquent accounts and negotiating repayment solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for customer service.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Contact customers via phone to discuss delinquent accounts and negotiate payment arrangements

    + Update and maintain customer account information in internal systems

    + Follow established guidelines and federal regulations (FDCPA, bankruptcy laws)

    + Develop repayment schedules and explain consequences of delinquency

    + Perform skip tracing and due diligence as needed

    + Maintain professionalism and empathy in all customer interactions

    • Required Qualifications

    + High School diploma or equivalent

    + Experience in collections or customer service (preferably in banking or finance)

    + Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills

    + Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)

    + Basic understanding of consumer loans, credit cards, and overdraft processes

    Preferred Skills

    + Experience with repayment plans and skip tracing

    + Familiarity with regulatory compliance in collections

    + Bilingual skills are a plus

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
