Job Title: Bank Teller - Garrisonville, VA (GAR)Job Description

The role involves providing members and prospective members with a comprehensive range of products and services. These include depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust, and estate accounts; lending products; and credit/debit cards.

Responsibilities

+ Assist members and prospective members with opening and managing depository accounts.

+ Educate members on lending products and credit/debit card options.

+ Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately.

+ Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for all members.

+ Manage account administration tasks with precision.

+ Engage in retail sales to promote banking services and products.

Essential Skills

+ Proven customer service skills and ability to handle cash transactions.

+ Experience in account management and administration.

+ Strong communication skills, confident in engaging with members.

+ Knowledge of banking practices and financial products.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to think outside the box and provide alternative solutions.

+ Comfortable with member-facing roles and not afraid of rejections.

+ Prior experience in finance or banking is preferred.

Work Environment

This position requires working on-site at the branch with the flexibility to stand or sit depending on business demands and member foot traffic. The schedule is Monday through Saturday, with one day off during the week if working on Saturday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Stafford, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
