TEKsystems, in partnership with a Leading healthcare client, is in search of a Document Processing Specialist in Loma Linda, California!

Role:

This team takes in records from both electronic (fax or email) and physical (mail or drop off), and processes them have the process. By processing these records, they attach them to a patient or client in their digital record. These are tied to some sort of case, which can be an insurance case, claims case, anything that they need to have the records documented for Lawyers or Insurance companies to process for Workers' Comp or any sort of insurance claim.

Description of work to be performed :

They will be:

- Bringing in the hard or electronic copy of the record

- Doing Quality control to verify all of the information on the record that is needed is there, and that it is correct and lines up

- They will call the customers/patients/clients to verify or clarify some information, which they say happens about twice a day; otherwise just computer work

- They then kick these records over to Quality Control or Billing or the Legal Team, pending the result

Specified productivity speed/number of tasks/amount of material:

+ This will be more cubicle environment, in office, on site.

+ M-F 8-5, but they may ask to work some shifts 9-6 if that is required

+ Free parking around the building, lots of spots, just need a pass

Excel- A lot of the files will be putting in Excel

Customer Service- They would like to see some sort of experience in Customer Service, so when they are calling patients, they have a good manner

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
