    We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Support Engineer to assist the sales and engineering teams in quote (RFPs or RFQs) generation and technical documentation for passenger boarding bridge sales. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries, supporting the sales team with technical data, and helping bridge the gap between engineering and commercial efforts. You are not selling in this role, but with your engineering expertise, you will be able to advise our internal team regarding custom requests from our customers to ensure they will work with legacy designs.

    YOUR IMPACT:

    + Support the sales team with the preparation of technical quotes, submittals, and proposals

    + Review customer specifications and RFQs to ensure alignment with product capabilities

    + Coordinate with engineering and production teams to gather necessary technical data, drawings, lead times, and configuration details

    + Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding product inquiries, order status, and technical questions

    + Maintain and update product literature, technical documentation, and sales support tools

    + Enter and manage quote data in CRM and ERP systems with accuracy

    + Track quote follow-up activity and assist with lead qualification

    + Assist in the development of custom solutions by relaying customer requirements to the engineering team

    + Provide support for post-sale documentation and transition to project or customer support teams

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with three (3) or more years of related experience.

    STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:

    + 2+ years of experience in a technical support, inside sales, or customer-facing engineering role

    + Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly

    + High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM/ERP (Syteline) systems preferred

    + Experience in aviation, industrial equipment, or capital goods

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    + **Physical Demands:** Frequent: Standing, Walking/Running, Sitting, Reaching, Hearing, Talking, Visual, Typing; Occasional: Driving, Fine Dexterity, Manual Dexterity; Upper Extremity Repetitive Motion; Seldom: Lifting/Carrying 25lbs., Pushing/Pulling 25llbs.

    + **Non-Physical Demands:** Frequent: Analysis/Reasoning, Communication/Interpretation, Math/Mental Computation, Reading, Sustained Mental Activity (i.e. auditing, problem solving, grant writing, composing reports), Writing.

    + **Environmental Demands:** Frequent: Work Alone, Frequent Task Changes, Tedious/Exacting Work; Occasional: High Volume Public Contact.

    + **Work Schedule:** Routine shift hours. Infrequent overtime, weekend, or shift rotation.

    + **Demands/Deadlines:** High volume and variable work demands and deadlines impose strain on routine basis or considerable stress intermittently; OR regular direct contacts with distressed individuals within the immediate work environment; and/or exposure to demands and pressures from persons other than immediate supervisor.

    Pay Range:

    $72,200.00 - $116,200.00

     

    The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
