CTG is seeking to fill an Enterprise Architect - Cloud opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.

**Location:** Buffalo, NY

**Duration:** 6 months

Overview:

+ Drive M&T Bank’s transition from on-premises infrastructure to a hybrid cloud environment.

+ Design and implement secure, scalable, and compliant Azure-based cloud architectures.

+ Align cloud solutions with regulatory standards and strategic business goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Define and refine the roadmap for hybrid cloud adoption.

+ Design high-level and detailed architecture for Azure and hybrid systems.

+ Lead implementation teams to deliver cloud projects effectively.

+ Act as a liaison between internal teams and third-party providers.

+ Ensure regulatory compliance and security adherence in all solutions.

+ Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to senior stakeholders.

+ Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Scope of Responsibilities:

+ Deliver cloud transition roadmaps, architectural designs, and compliance reports.

+ Develop stakeholder presentations and implementation plans.

+ Monitor and optimize performance and cost of cloud solutions.

+ Collaborate with security, IT, and business units to integrate new technologies.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

+ May lead and mentor cloud architects and technical implementation staff.

+ Oversee third-party engagement and enforce SLAs in hybrid environments.

Education and Experience Required:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

+ 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with 3+ focused on Azure hybrid environments.

+ Experience in regulated industries, particularly financial services.

+ Strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.

Education and Experience Preferred:

+ Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator, Cloud Service Manager, DevOps Engineer.

+ Knowledge of colocation providers and hybrid data center operations.

+ Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.

+ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Terraform, ARM), and Azure DevOps.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
