• Application Developer Microsoft .NET Stack

    CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer – Microsoft .NET Stack opening for our client in Philadelphia, PA.

     

    **Location:** Philadelphia, PA or Wilmington, DE

    **Duration:** 7 months

    Duties:

    + Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performing applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.

    + Implement cloud-native solutions using Azure Function Apps, especially with durable functions.

    + Utilize Azure services including Application Insights, Key Vault, Storage Account, API Management, and App Registration.

    + Develop and manage APIs using Open API specifications and RESTful services.

    + Integrate solutions with Kafka for efficient messaging and data streaming.

    + Follow secure development practices and ensure code security and compliance.

    + Apply Test Driven Development (TDD) using .NET unit testing frameworks such as MoQ.

    + Monitor application performance and telemetry proactively using Azure Application Insights.

    + Collaborate with DevOps teams to support Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment processes.

    + Employ Dependency Injection and maintain loosely coupled architecture.

    Skills:

    + Proficiency in C# (.NET and .NET Core)

    + Hands-on experience with Azure Function Apps (Durable Functions preferred)

    + Knowledge of Application Insights, Key Vault, Storage Account, and API Management

    + Experience in integrating with Kafka

    + Strong understanding of JSON, RESTful APIs, and Open API specifications

    + GitHub for version control

    + Experience in DevOps environments with CI/CD

    + Familiarity with secure development practices

    + Effective use of Dependency Injection frameworks

    + TDD using .NET Unit Testing and MoQ frameworks

    + Performance and telemetry monitoring using Azure Application Insights

    Experience:

    + Proven track record of application development using Microsoft .NET stack

    + Prior experience working in cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure

    + Demonstrated experience in DevOps and agile methodologies

    + Background in building secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-based applications

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
