Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking to hire a 1:1 LPN for the 2025-2026 school year!

Employment Type: Full time

Pay Rate: $27 /hr - ~$43,200

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 School LPN/LVN to identify and treat health disorders among students in the school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provide instruction for the student’s general wellbeing and disease prevention.

+ Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

+ Monitors the student’s physical conditions in the school setting and refers the student to appropriate resources as needed.

+ Perform in compliance with his/her LPN/LVN scope of practice and according to state education codes.

+ Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and healthcare providers to support the student’s needs.

+ Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with school policies.

+ Educate and support the student in managing their health condition.

Qualifications:

+ Current LPN/LVN license for the state in which the nurse practices

+ Current PPD or Chest X-Ray

+ One year prior professional nursing experience in school setting preferred

+ Pediatric experience preferred

+ Current BLS card

+ Considerable knowledge of medical disorders and treatment

+ Considerable knowledge of child growth and development

+ Some knowledge of public health problems and procedures for treatment in coordination with other health and social service agencies

+ Some knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations affecting the delivery of school health services

+ Understands the school organization and the community served

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
