    Our client is a trusted partner in the Chemical production industry and they are seeking additional help on their Maintenance teams for a Maintenance Technician!

    Located in Montgomery, IL

    **Shift:** 1st shift 630am-3pm

    **Pay:** $30-40/hour

    THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Conduct preventative maintenance on both production (blending and packaging) and facility equipment

    + Utilize and maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking work orders and equipment history

    + Manage spare parts and maintenance inventory

    + Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues

    + Install and repair various industrial components, including electric and air-operated diaphragm pumps, actuated and manual valves, and piping (stainless steel, PVC, copper, etc.)

    + Rebuild and refurbish equipment components as needed

    + Support capital improvement projects and coordinate with third-party contractors as required

    + Ensure all maintenance work aligns with safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness standards

    + Lead or assist in team projects and provide training when necessary

    + Ensure installation of equipment adheres to manufacturer specifications

    + Perform other related tasks as assigned

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required

    + Previous experience in a maintenance technician or mechanic role in a commercial or manufacturing setting required

    + Experience with chemical processing, boilers, welding, pipe cutting, or industrial design is a plus
