Job Title: Senior Manager, Systems Engineer (Product Owner)Job Code: 23424Job Location: Rockwall, TXJob Schedule: 9/80 Job Description: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Group Lead and Product Owner to join our team for the DIU ACT program. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of expertise in NCCT data networks, and systems integration of a multi-int and domain C2 autonomous system. In this role, you will lead a team in an agile development environment, focusing on the development and integration of autonomous technologies. You will oversee the entire product lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration and rigorous testing to meet high-performance standards. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that advance the DIU ACT program's objectives. You will also perform as a first line supervisor for up to ten direct reports and be the Rockwall SE Site Lead. Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills are essential. Essential Functions: • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers and developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment to achieve project goals and objectives.• Oversee the entire product lifecycle from initial concept through to deployment, ensuring all components meet L3Harris standards and performance metrics.• Coordinate and execute the integration and testing of autonomous systems, ensuring seamless functionality and compliance with project requirements.• Implement and maintain agile methodologies to manage project timelines, deliverables, and team workflows, ensuring efficient and effective project execution.• Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams and stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and alignment on project objectives and progress.• Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance project outcomes and deliver cutting-edge solutions.• Travel 25% or more to customer site to oversee integration and test of system.• Act as first line supervisor for up to ten direct reports and Rockwall SE Site Lead.• Perform performance evaluations ensuring direct reports are meeting L3Harris standards.
Qualifications: • Active TS/SCI security clearance.• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills: • Strong expertise in NCCT data architecture and open, modular autonomy architecture, multi-INT sensor fusion and multi-level security data architecture.• Strong expertise in multi-domain C2 systems integration and test including hardware in the loop, swarm of swarms protocol, and leading a team of interdisciplinary engineers using an Agile development framework.• Strong expertise is leading a team of direct reports, facilitating career growth opportunities, participating in salary planning, performing annual evaluations, leading continuous improvement/lean initiatives, and performing as Rockwall, TX Systems Engineering Site Lead. • Understanding of cybersecurity principles, software assurance, and secure coding practices.• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, Google Cloud) and hybrid-cloud architectures. • Experience in utilizing a systems model in tools like Cameo or Rhapsody.• Familiarity with software languages like Java, Python, C#.
