    Job Description:

    As **Manager, International Tax** , you will assist tax leaders within the Tax function for International Tax Provision and Compliance.

     

    + Analyze details of foreign operating companies with respect to the US international tax calculations (including Subpart F, GILTI, foreign tax credit, basis tracking and E&P studies)

    + Prepare workpapers for quarterly and annual income tax provision and compliance processes, including maintaining and updating technical US international tax calculations. Ensuring that such calculations take into consideration the impact of any relevant tax legislative changes.

    + Monitor, research, and evaluate tax impact of any enacted and potential law changes and execute strategies to mitigate tax risk and improve operational complexity

    + Assist with special projects as assigned by leadership, including but not limited to tax modeling and process improvements

    + Manage tax audits in conjunction with advisers including data collection, settlement recommendation and other aspects of audit/litigation process

    + Build relationships and understand tax positions of various business divisions

     

    This position is based in **Palo Alto, CA** and reports to the Senior Manager, International Tax.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics is required and 8+ years in a large corporate tax environment with international tax, which may be in industry, Big 4, or similar. Or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics is required and 6+ years in a large corporate tax environment with international tax, which may be in industry, Big 4, or similar.

    • CPA is preferred.

    • Knowledge in US international tax concepts is required.

    • Strong MS Excel and Alteryx experience required.

    • Willing to learn new technical skills and systems independently or with the mentorship of more experienced team members when necessary

    • Aptitude and willingness for self-review

    • Self-starter and with the ability to execute and monitor plans to carryout complex projects

    Compensation and Benefits

     

    The annual base salary range for this position is $94,000 - $150,000.

     

    This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
