Position Description

We are seeking an accomplished Deputy Program Manager to join our team, providing strategic support in overseeinga claims management program with the federal government. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in program and project management, particularly in disaster operations, to effectively manage projects and drive organizational success. This role involves collaboration with program teams, high-level leadership, and ensuring precision in execution.

**In this role, you will** :

+ Assist the Program Manager in the planning, execution, and management of program initiatives, ensuring they are aligned with organizational goals.

+ Provide guidance and leadership to project managers and teams, particularly in disaster operational settings.

+ Develop andmaintainrobust program management processes, including budgeting, cost control, risk management, and conflict resolution.

+ Lead and contribute as a member of a team, fostering a collaborative and motivating environment.

+ Communicate programobjectives, progress, and changes effectively through excellent written and oral communication.

+ Demonstrate keen attention to detail, organized management of tasks, and the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.

+ Analyze program progress and performance, recommending strategic improvements andadjustmentsas necessary.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

+ Bachelor's degree in business ora relatedfield.

+ Minimum of 15 years of experience inprogrammanagement, including experience as a Project Manager on multiple projects.

+ Experience in disasteroperationsis preferred.

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $95,604.60 to $191,209.20; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
