JOB SUMMARY
+ Provides technical support of activities related to the improvement and development of current and new processes including process cost evaluation, quality and capability alternatives analyses, and process characterization.
+ Provides direction and supports the needs of manufacturing areas across the site to meet the requirements for quality standards, compliant documentation, capacity, product availability and cost.
+ Provides advances in technology solutions in field of expertise with new innovations, up to speed on the latest technologies and releases. Challenges boundaries through innovations and new ways of working and provides solutions to complex problems.
+ Strong connections, well connected with both internal and senior external experts in field of expertise, Quality, R&D, Engineering, Operations and digital systems.
+ Mentors, teaches and provides technical leadership to engineering staff to accelerate their technical skills.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
+ Participates in engineering projects including planning and completing work you're leading on-time and with high quality. Leads technically critical or challenging elements of these projects.
+ Participates in investigations, develops plans and implements tasks to solve process problems including Nonconformances (NC), complaint investigations, audit observations and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
+ Understands existing processesin order tosupport tasks associated with process validation (Installation Qualification, Operation Qualification, Performance Qualification, Computer Software Validation and Test Method Validation) and engineering studies.
+ Identifies and assists in process improvements for existing manufacturing processes using appropriate engineering principles and standard strategies as e.g., Lean and Six Sigma principles.
+ Supports tasks related to new equipment acquisition efforts including user requirement specifications, machine selection, installation, validation, employee training, and other related equipment responsibilities as required.
+ Checks complex layouts and drawings for clarity, completeness, conformity to standards, procedures, specifications, and accuracy of calculations and dimensions.
+ Participates in designed experiments and capability studies as support staff, collects and maintains documents, and records process specifications.
+ Participates in multi-functional teams which may include, but are not limited to Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality Assurance, Finance, Product Development and personnel from other sites.
+ Assures alignment to all company safety policies and procedures and other safety precautions within the work area.
Performs other related duties, as required.
+ Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
+ Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
+ Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
+ Performs other duties assigned as needed
EXPERIENCE** **AND EDUCATION
+ 10 years of proven experience in manufacturing and/or engineering is required with wide experience and knowledge in technical area.
+ Previous experience working in a regulated industry, such as Medical Device is preferred.
+ Construction and drawing knowledge.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES** **,** **CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES** **and AFFILIATIONS
+ Technical experience in specific field of expertise. Certificate or associates degree, preferred.
+ Demonstrates working knowledge of machine and electrical safety standards, preferred.
+ Demonstrates troubleshooting skills.
+ Demonstrates leadership qualities including confidence, transparency, integrity, innovation, passion, patience, and tenacity.
+ Demonstrates strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
+ Demonstrates strong computer skills, such as the use of Microsoft Office, Siemens NX, databases & PLM, preferred.
+ Demonstrates strong organizational skills and is results oriented.
+ Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills and professional interactions withco-workers.
RESPONSIBILITY** **FOR OTHERS & INTERNAL INTERACTIONS
+ Must be willing to support global projects
+ Must be willing to support all production shifts.
+ Participates in and understands compliance related activities pertaining to the job assignment including compliance with the Quality System Regulation (QSR), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and applicable Work Instructions.
+ Follows all laws and policies as they apply to one's job and maintains the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times.
+ Supports and operates in a proactive safety environment
+ Works in conditions that may be hot, cold, wet and/or noisy along with exposure to fumes, oil, coolants and other manufacturing related chemicals.
Additional Information:
+ The anticipated base pay range for this position is $ **77,000 - $120,000** annually.
+ The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

+ Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
