Job Summary

Responsible for the management and oversight of the Pharma Program Team. This team is responsible for assisting with the implementation of new and existing pharmaceutical manufacturer programs, from contracting, through implementation and post launch. The Pharma Program Team creates and modifies SOPs for all new and existing programs. This team serves as the liaison between Manufacturers, HUBs and WSP Operations. This team is responsible for the intake of prescriptions and ensuring that all of the manufacturer's required data is present. This team also monitors TAT (Turn Around Time) requirements and quality checks reporting prior to delivery to manufacturers and HUBS. The Manager of Pharma Program Services is also responsible for attending Quarterly Business Reviews and meetings with Trade. They are responsible for communicating WSP's performance back to Operational leadership and working with leadership to drive performance and maximize rebates and fees. The Manager of Pharma Program Services must work closely with Operations, Trade, Trade Reporting and the Manager of Audit and Adherence Pharma Programs to ensure program requirements are being met. The manager is responsible for overseeing the development of team members through orientation, training, performance evaluation, communication, and recognition and performance improvement where applicable.

Job Responsibilities

+ Manages the Pharma Programs Team; this includes but is not limited to contract review and implementation of manufacturer programs, develop standard operating procedures, understand and interpret program specific scorecards, interact with Pharmaceutical Manufacturers on new product releases and updates and collaborate with Trade Reporting for data accuracy and timeliness

+ Acts as liaison between Operations and Trade Contracting team to ensure proper handling of the program and drug according to the contract requirements

+ Ensures Pharma Programs team is writing SOPs for new and existing contracts in an accurate and timely manner, and that such SOPs are posted to SharePoint; will also ensure that all SOP's are reviewed at least annually, if not more, to ensure information is current and applicable

+ Participates in Quarterly Business Review with Trade and Manufacturers; bring back best practices and make recommendations based on information provided during the QBR on how ARxWP can improve performance to optimize rebates and service fees

+ Will have fiscal responsibility to ensure that service fee and rebate projections are being met

+ Works with Trade, Operations and other business units, as applicable, to create a strategy to achieve fee and rebate projections

+ Responsible for educating internal and external customers regarding Standard Operating Procedures related to Manufacturer contracts

+ Monitors program performance and pursue opportunities to further expand revenue and profitability through performance management and rebate support and pull through

+ Monitors to ensure that we are meeting TAT requirements on contracted products

+ Works with Trade Data to ensure all reports are quality checked and delivered in a timely manner Supervisory Responsibilities

+ Responsible for the development, oversight and implementation of departmental budget

+ Responsible for leading a team through teaching, coaching and inspiring by fostering a sense of energy, ownership and a responsibility for the flawless execution of operational excellence; engage in the selection and hiring process as needed

+ Other responsibilities as judgment or necessity dictate

External Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, Business, Science, or related area of study; or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience

+ 5 years' work experience in Patient Care, Healthcare, or Retail/ Customer Service-oriented role

+ 3 years of leadership / people management experience

+ Current Pharmacy Technician License/Registration with State Board of Pharmacy if required in the state in which position is located

+ 3 years' experience managing contractual relationships

+ 3 years' experience working directly with Trade/Pharmaceutical Manufacturers

+ At least 1 year of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross- functional team leadership.

+ Willing to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state)

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience applying Pharmacy Law, along with legal and regulatory guidelines surrounding the dispensing of Specialty Pharmacy medications
