RCIS (a division of Zurich North America), is currently hiring a VP of Policy and Agent Digital Transformation and this person will report to the Chief Operations and Technology Officer – Crop Technology. This person will be leading a significant team to create best in class Guidewire digital solutions for agents and customers.
This person can work in a hybrid location in either Anoka, MN OR at the Schaumburg, IL North America HQ.
Responsibilities:
+ Platform manager role – manage the modernization of crop insurance policy administration applications at the retail agency level.
+ This person will be leading a significant team to create best in class Guidewire digital solutions for agents and customers.
+ Manage an application development team, onshore and offshore, 3rd party service provider and vendor resources.
+ Manage 3rd party vendor, budgeting, staffing, and performance.
+ Manage staff budgeting and manpower planning, workforce strategy, and capacity planning.
+ Define, communicate, and execute end-to-end application strategy regarding Crop technology modernization for external facing users.
+ Oversees demand planning process and alignment for modernization of the agent digital experience, retail application at the crop agency level.
+ Develop business solutions and project concepts, creates plans, and oversee implementation of business solutions of moderate to high level of complexity.
+ Manage internal and external business stakeholders and IT delivery partners to ensure service performance meets expectations.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree and 10 or more years of experience in the Information Technology areaOR
+ High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Information Technology areaAND
+ Experience with IT development and/or maintenance.
+ Knowledge of IT standards and policy.
+ Project management experience.
+ People management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Background with agency digital experience, retail background at an agency level.
+ Strong experience with budgeting, workforce planning and modeling, and workforce strategy.
+ Strong people management skills with internal staff as well as onshore and offshore resources, 3rd party vendors and service providers.
+ Experience managing a 3rd party vendor performance, budget, and delivery.
+ Experience with agent digital experience and creating technology platform for external users.
+ Experience with Guidewire.
+ Experience with Guidewire Policy Center and Agent Digital Services.
+ Experience with distributed delivery of technology.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Leadership and people management experience in a team environment.
+ P&C Insurance, Crop Insurance, and Financial Services experience.
At Zurich, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education. The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed salary range for this position is $149,500.00 - $244,900.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 25%.
