    **Job Type:** Full-time Consultant (12-Month Contract)

    **Schedule:** Monday to Friday | Variable Shifts | 6:00 AM – 2:45 PM

    **Pay Rate:** $27.13/hour

    PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a dedicated **Assembler** to join our aerospace manufacturing team in North Charleston. In this hands-on role, you will be directly involved in assembling critical components and systems that keep the aerospace industry moving forward.     _This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license._

    What You’ll Do

    + Perform routine assembly operations on structural and mechanical parts, subassemblies, and aircraft systems

    + Use manual or automated tools to complete builds according to precise specifications

    + Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and technical drawings

    + Collaborate with production teams to solve issues and improve processes

    + Identify and report any roadblocks or production challenges

    + Support continuous improvement efforts using Lean Manufacturing Systems (LMS) and 5S principles

    + Provide mentoring and cross-training to teammates to strengthen team performance

    + Participate in team efforts to ensure production goals and quality standards are met

    + Work overtime as needed to fulfill customer commitments

     

    What You Bring

    Required Qualifications:

    + Ability to work a variable shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd)

    + 1+ year of experience in manufacturing or fabrication

    + 1+ year of experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions in English

    + 1+ year of experience using computers for tasks such as email, internet, or basic applications like Microsoft Office

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 1+ year of aerospace industry experience

    **Pay Details:** $27.13 per hour
