Join a team that’s shaping the future of flight! At PDS Tech Commercial, we’re looking for a skilled **Avionics Installer** to support cutting-edge aircraft innovation. In this hands-on role, your work will directly impact the performance, safety, and advancement of the aviation systems that power modern flight.

What You’ll Do: Day-to-Day Responsibilities

+ Assist in the installation, modification, and fabrication of avionics wiring and electrical components.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematic diagrams to perform precise system installations.

+ Conduct terminations, ring-outs, and functional tests of electrical systems with minimal supervision.

+ Maintain accurate logs and records to meet regulatory and customer requirements.

+ Ensure every job meets quality standards through thorough inspection and attention to detail.

+ Adhere to all safety regulations, including FOD control, tool accountability, and 5S practices.

+ Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe.

+ Care for and maintain tools and equipment issued by the shop.

+ Actively engage in continuous improvement initiatives like Kaizen events.

What You Bring: Required & Preferred Qualifications

Required:

+ High School Diploma or GED.

+ One of the following:

+ Two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics.

+ Two (2) years of related work experience.

+ Avionics certificate from an accredited school and one (1) year of related work experience.

+ Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics.

+ Knowledge of FAA regulations and customer specifications.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

+ Basic computer literacy.

Preferred:

+ Passion for aviation and hands-on electrical systems.

+ Experience in continuous improvement environments (Lean, Kaizen, etc.).

+ Familiarity with aviation maintenance documentation and standards.

**Pay Details:** $30.17 per hour
