    Now Hiring: Onsite Calibration Technicians!

     

    JM Test Systems is looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Onsite Calibration Technician to join our team. This role involves frequent travel to customer sites to perform calibrations, qualifications, and preventative maintenance on inspection, measurement, and test equipment (IM&TE). You'll help ensure precision, safety, and compliance with top industry standards-all while delivering excellent customer service.

    What You'll Do:

    + Travel to customer locations to perform onsite calibration and testing services.

    + Calibrate and maintain electrical, mechanical, dimensional, and physical equipment.

    + Follow procedures and specifications from manufacturers and clients.

    + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct measurement issues.

    + Maintain equipment, trailers, and company vehicles used in fieldwork.

    + Accurately document all work performed and submit timely calibration reports.

    + Communicate effectively with customers and represent JM Test Systems professionally.

    What We're Looking For:

    + High school diploma or GED required.

    + Strong technical and mechanical aptitude-able to work confidently with tools, instruments, and measurement equipment.

    + Associates degree, technical training, or military experience a plus.

    + Clean driving record and ability to travel frequently (regionally and occasionally longer distances).

    + Comfortable working in mobile labs, outdoor environments, and confined spaces.

    + Physically able to lift 50 lbs. and drive long distances.

    Traveling Incentives:

    + Technicians earn $2.00/hour additional pay when assigned to a project.

    + Meal subsistence provided when traveling 50+ miles and away for 12+ hours.

    + TWIC and OSHA card costs (including renewals) covered by JM Test Systems.

    + All required PPE provided by the company for specific projects.

    Work Environment:

    + Field-based work at customer sites, both indoor and outdoor.

    + Use of mobile labs and travel trailers.

    + Frequent regional travel required.

    + Collaboration with a team of skilled technicians and supportive management.

    Schedule:

    + Extended hours

    + Monday to Friday

    + Overtime

    + Weekends as needed
