Compensation: $55,000-$60,000

Working directly in communities, bringing hope and healing to youth and families that need it! As part of an integral service team, our community-based therapist deliver life changing Mental and Health services to youth and their families referred by schools, healthcare providers, Family and Children Frist councils, county courts and more.
Under the general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, you will help youth and families overcome challenges, working toward the ultimate goal of living safely and successfully in their community! At NYAP, you’re not only a therapist – you’re a beacon of guidance and advocacy!

Responsibilities
+ Provides individual, group, and family mental health therapy, case management, transportation, and other professional services to clients served
+ Coordinate and monitor services for the youth and family in the community mental health, medical, educational, psychological, vocational, and social services.
+ Regularly reviews and modifies youth-based plans to assure consistent progress and success on written plan goals.
+ Establishes and maintains strong relationship with adolescents, youth and children as well as assigned foster parents and families of origin.
+ Assists in family reunification and/or stabilization efforts with the youth’s primary family or other permanent living arrangement consistent with the youth’s case plan.
+ Provides safety assessment, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services as required to assure safety and stability for youth served
Minimum Qualifications
+ Master’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
+ LSW or LPC required; LISW LPCC preferred
+ Experience in providing both individual and family therapy preferred
+ Experience working in direct service with youth and families preferred.
+ Experience with TF-CBT preferred
+ You have good computer and technology skills
+ Must be willing to accept other job duties as assigned
