Operations Engineer - Intern

Hyundai AutoEver America's HQ (Fountain Valley or Costa Mesa, depending on business unit) will be running a 12-week internship program from 06/24/2025 to 09/12/2025.  Interns will be expected to work anywhere between 20 - 24 hours a week, not to exceed 30 hours a week.

Purpose:

Join our innovative team to support Connected Mobility Center (CMC) Operations. You'll learn to assist in system architecture, issue/log analysis, data/security analytics, and project management activities.

Essential Functions:

+ Write technical documents and understand the product.

+ Support project management activities

+ Enhance CMC knowledge-based documentation

+ Coordinate with multiple stakeholders and monitor system performance.

+ Support data analysis, reporting, and production deployment.

+ Research on AI technology to improve the current operations reporting

Basic Requirements:

+ Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.

+ Quick learner with minimal guidance.

+ Team player with knowledge of Java, C++, REST web services, Spring framework, machine learning, AI, databases, and operating systems.

+ Familiarity with software frameworks like Angular, React, and Node.js.

+ Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

+ Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

+ Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab.

+ Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

+ Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

+ Understanding test processes and agile methodologies.

+ Excellent time management, communication, and analytical skills.

Nice to Have:

+ Operating systems (Linux, Windows, UNIX) administrations

+ Web/App server administrations

+ Basic IT networking knowledge (IP address, subnet, BGP, DNS, etc.)

+ AI technology

+ Basic System and Infrastructure architectural design.

+ Understanding of APIs and ability to troubleshoot software failures.

+ Knowledge of microservices architecture.

+ Familiarity with IoT technologies and protocols.
