Clean Harbors is searching for a reliable and safety oriented **I&E Maintenance Technician** with an excellent mechanical aptitude to join our **Dickinson** **, TX** team!

The **I&E Maintenance technician** will be responsible for performing hands-on instrument checks, calibrations, and PLC Logic programming, along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the electrical and maintenance departments with various tasks as needed.

+ Troubleshoots instrument and control malfunctions

+ Performs preventative maintenance checks and calibrations

+ Maintains accurate records and logs as required

+ Installs new system controls (including power wiring)

+ Installs cabling, power distribution systems, and motor control centers

+ Services and replaces motors and lighting

+ Performs general electrical maintenance

+ Other duties as assigned

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

+ HS Diploma or Equivalent

+ Instrument and/or electrical training, degree, or certification preferred

+ Journeyman Electrician License a plus!

+ 4+ years of I&E experience in a plant environment preferred

+ Distributed control system (DCS) experience required

+ Installing VFDs (Variable Frequency Drive) required

+ Experience working with 480v and below

+ DeltaV is an asset!

+ Wonderware and/or Honeywell preferred

+ Proficiency in blueprint reading of electronic schematics

+ Proficiency in process and instrumentation diagrams (PID)

+ Team player willing to jump in where needed

+ Ability to prioritize work

+ Mechanically inclined

+ Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stoop, lift, climb and stand for long periods of time
