**Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS)** has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Agent – Team Lead to support the Cruise Missile Systems in St. Charles, MO!

The Procurement Agent – Team Lead must possess strong business acumen, communication and problem-solving skills. This position will be responsible for sourcing strategies, subcontract negotiation, the documentation of contracts and agreements, and the preparation and execution of proprietary information agreements and teaming agreements. It will also require the communication of performance expectations and use of metrics to evaluate, monitor, and improve supplier performance. Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders is required.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

+ Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance

+ Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions

+ Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements

+ Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions

+ Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues

+ Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities

+ Participates in supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

+ 5+ years of Experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes

+ 5 + years of experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access

+ 3+ years’ experience interacting with customers or suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals

+ Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment is highly desired

+ Experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements and an applied understanding of Lean practices

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

+ Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field

Summary pay range: $95,200 – $117,600
