Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Mountain View, California. You will be part of a team where your primary function will be to manage and maintain financial records, ensure compliance with financial policies, and assist with administrative tasks. This role is crucial in the industry and will require a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure they are properly categorized.

• Regularly reconcile bank statements and accounts.

• Efficiently process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

• Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets and profit-and-loss statements.

• Monitor and manage company expenses, budgets, and cash flow.

• Generate invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.

• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.

• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Assist with ad hoc requests, such as retrieving transaction details.

• Keep finance documentation orderly for audits. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary

• Ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP)

• Skills in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) required

• Competency in performing Bank Reconciliations is crucial

• Must possess strong Bookkeeping skills

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential

• Ability to handle Month End Close procedures

• Experience in managing Payroll is required

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software is necessary

• Familiarity with QuickBooks Enterprise is a plus

• Knowledge of Corporate Income Tax is essential
