    The Coordinator Quality Control Field is responsible for assuring that that quality of the work meets or exceeds a project’s contractual requirements, and maintains the standard of excellence established by Pauley Construction, LLC.

     

    Job consists of verifying billing/as-builts against actual field findings and consolidating into one final As-Built. Position is expected to do minor construction related work such as shoveling dirt, gravel hand holes, etc.) This position will include doing basic repairs and corrections for checking jobs in process and completed.

    What you’ll do as a Coordinator Quality Control Field

     

    + Drive company vehicle to job sites located across the contract area.

    + Inspecting each job based on the client’s “finished product” expectations to the specifics of the contract.

    + Visually inspect and correct punch list items to close out jobs

    + Inspect conditions of existing and new utilities, poles and soft/hard restoration

    + Document with pictures or in writing what is evaluated at job sites

    + Correcting minor repairs that require work like foaming ducts and placing gravel by shovel.

    + Data entry of each job with associated pictures and details of the Quality Check.

    + Reporting to operations with a report of results from the Quality Check if the job is complete or if further repair is necessary from the subcontractor.

    + Comparing multiple prints and consolidating into one final As-Built.

     

    What you’ll need

     

    + To be 18 years of age or older

    + Authorization to work in the United States for this company

    + Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record

    + Must be able to pass a background check and company drug screening.

    + Must be able to attend and pass all company required training as neede.

    + May be required to work over-time; after hours; on weekends or be on-call as work is needed to ensure work is completed.

    + May include working nights and holidays as needed.

    Additional qualifications

    + Quality control experience preferred

    + Knowledge in QC testing and inspection for underground utilities, soil, concrete and aerial work preferred but not required.

    + Any combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates ability to perform the designated job duties and responsibilities of the position.

    + Must be able to effectively communicate with managers, coworkers, subcontractors, consultants, owners, and customers

    + Must have ability to coordinate inspections with subcontractors.

    + Basic computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office products.

    + Basic ability to use small tools/hand tools

    + Maintain a positive attitude with managers, coworkers, and customers.

    + Maintain good public relations (interact with the public in a courteous manner)

    + Must be goal oriented, have excellent time management skills, react well under pressure, and follow through on commitments and deadlines

    + Ability to make common sense understanding to carry out instructions that are provided in written, oral or drawing. Ability to deal with and understand problems involving different variables in many varied situations involving employees, customers and vendors.

    + Ability to calculate figures and amounts (measurements in terms of distance, proportions, percentages and area. Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics.

    + Ability to read, understand and interpret documents such as safety rules and requirements, machine manuals of operation and process procedures. Ability to write information including reports. Ability to speak effectively to customers, coworkers and vendors.

    + Duties outlined in this position will require the employee to stand, crouch, sit, bend, use hands and fingers to handle or feel as well as reaching with hands and arms to spaces both high and low. The employee will be standing, walking, climbing, balancing, crawling, crouching, lifting, holding or stooping a moderate amount of time while on shift.

    + The noise level in the work environment for this position may be moderate.

    + Employees performing functions of this position are routinely exposed to outside weather conditions which can include but is not limited to: extreme heat and cold temperatures; inclement weather such as rain, snow, sleet and dust as well as adverse driving conditions including wet roads, icy roads, and fog.

    + Employees performing these job functions are required to lift or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.

    + Employees in this job classification may be exposed to dust, fumes or other airborne pathogens.

    + Employees may be exposed to toxic or corrosive chemicals as well as moving machinery parts and pieces.

    + Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include but are not limited to: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus potentially near and/or far as needed.

    Pay Range: The Coordinator Quality Control Field position pays an hourly wage of $24.00 - $25.00 depending on experience.
