As a **Security Professional - Armed Patrol** in **Gibsonton, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This role requires carrying a firearm and may involve driving responsibilities. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the facility and surrounding areas.

+ Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.

+ Document and communicate any incidents, observations, or concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Support emergency response activities as directed by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.

+ A valid Guard Card or security license is preferred.

+ Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
