Research Intern - Urology

Research intern will work with urology faculty on preclinical programs in penile squamous cell carcinoma. The intern will work five days a week on campus performing molecular biology and in vivo mouse experiments focused on determining therapeutic vulnerabilities in penile cancer. In addition, the intern will use medical records and in house RedCap database to perform retrospective studies in penile squamous cell carcinoma.
*LEARNING OBJECTIVES*
The research intern will learn how to perform molecular biology, in vivo mouse studies, and retrospective clinical studies with a specific focus on penile squamous cell carcinoma.
*ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS*
A baccalaureate degree in STEM associated fields (biology, biochemistry, chemistry) and the pursuit of a future MD or PhD with a focus on oncology.
