We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Informatics Program Manager to lead our Community Connect program, a vital initiative that extends the power of our electronic health record (EHR) capabilities to community-based physician practices. This is a pivotal role where you will be the driving force behind fostering clinical integration, enhancing data sharing, and ultimately, improving the health and well-being of our community.
JOB SUMMARY
As the Medical Informatics Program Manager, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the Community Connect program, from initial planning and implementation to ongoing operations, optimization, and sustained growth. You will be the primary point of contact for community practices interested in joining the program, building strong relationships with physician leadership to generate interest, facilitate contracting, coordinate implementation with our IT project team, and provide go-live and post-implementation training and support.

+ Leading the Charge: Planning and coordinating all activities in support of the implementation and go-lives for new Community Connect clients.
+ Building Bridges: Serving as the key liaison between community physician practices and our internal IT project teams.
+ Empowering Practices: Providing ongoing client support services to ensure smooth operations and sustained customer engagement and satisfaction.
+ Driving Innovation: Measuring, evaluating, and reporting program achievements and results, identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
+ Championing Change: Utilizing your strong change management skills to work effectively with internal and external committees and work groups to promote the utilization of EMR technologies and the transition to new healthcare delivery systems.
What you'll do:
+ Oversee and evaluate the day-to-day operations of the Community Connect program, ensuring alignment with our business plan, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives.
+ Develop and maintain a marketing plan to identify potential clients and generate interest in the Community Connect program.
+ Meet with physician practice leaders to market the program, explaining the benefits of improved patient care, quality, communication, safety, and efficiency through clinical integration and data sharing.
+ Assess physician practice readiness for key process, workflow, and cultural changes necessary for successful implementation.
+ Coordinate, oversee, and evaluate the implementation and rollout of the Community Connect program and related technologies.
+ Serve as the point person for project communications, ensuring that project milestones, completion dates, costs, risks, and contingencies are communicated effectively.
+ Identify, assess, and manage potential project risks, devising and implementing effective strategies and contingency plans to mitigate or resolve issues.
Qualifications
What you'll bring:
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, project management, business administration, or related clinical field and five years of related work experience. (Equivalent experience considered.)
+ Strong knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems and workflows.
+ Proven experience in project management and program marketing.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
+ Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Bonus Points: Previous experience with Epic applications or similar EHR community product experience. Certification in a major Epic application or Project Management (PMP, CAPM, APMC) is highly desirable.

Pay Range
$40.66 - $58.96 /hour
