Responsibilities

Advanced Practice Provider - Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgery:

Franciscan Surgical Associates at St. Joseph Medical Center is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Tacoma, Washington. You will work with our Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgeon and patients. Monday-Friday with built in admin time. No call other than during clinic hours.

Core components of this position include:

+ First Assist on surgery procedures including robotic surgery

+ Clinic duties for new and established patients and post-op appointments

+ Inpatient hospital rounding and patient management

+ Consultations, discharges, managing order, patient history, and surgery prep

Approximate Compensation Range: $130,223 - $153,803 with additional incentives

Qualifications

Requirements include:

+ Graduate from a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program

+ Candidate must have at least two years surgical experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.

+ Licensed in the state of Washington as a P.A or ARNP by the time of employment

+ Certified as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

+ DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority

+ Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Pay Range

$61.45-$88.70 /hour
