    Shipping Specialist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Shipping Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate shipment of materials, maintaining shipping records, and handling any issues that arise with shipments. This role requires familiarity with UPS ground and FedEx shipping, including international shipments.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare documents such as commercial invoices, bills of lading, shipping labels, and shipping orders to route materials.

    + Determine shipping methods for materials using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.

    + Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems such as damages, shortages, and non-conformance to specifications.

    + Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.

    + Operate or learn to operate a lift truck.

    + Conduct day-to-day duties on Everest and True Commerce platforms.

    Essential Skills

    + Familiarity with UPS ground and FedEx shipping, including FedEx International.

    + Experience with shipping and receiving, material handling, RF scanners, invoices, shipping labels, and shipping orders.

    + Ability to determine shipping routes and maintain inventory.

    + Forklift operation skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; equivalent combination preferred.

    + Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.

    + Ability to safely operate/train on a forklift.

    Work in a climate-controlled facility that includes administrative, assembly, and warehouse departments.

    7AM - 4:30PM

    Monday - Friday

     

    Rare to work Saturdays

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
