Job Title: Traveling General Laborer

Pay: $25/HR (Make 100k within first year)

Hours: Monday – Saturday 60 hours / weekly , 20+ hours of required OT each week

Travel Required: 2-3 weeks at a time, out of state

Experience Required: Construction General Labor, Landscaping, Concrete Labor, Masonry Labor

Job Description

We are a leading expert in ice arena construction and custom refrigeration systems. Since 1979, we have designed and built hundreds of ice rinks worldwide, offering services from initial installation to ongoing maintenance. This role is an entry-level opportunity with extensive travel across the US. You will be assisting in the installation of ice rinks from pipe installation, sand/grading, installing vapor barriers, insulation, subfloor, etc., until completion. In 2025, we will be installing 22 ice rinks.

Responsibilities

+ Assist in the installation of ice rinks

+ Perform pipe installation, sand/grading, installing vapor barriers, insulation, subfloor, etc.

+ Utilize hand and power tools effectively

+ Measure and cut materials accurately using a tape measure

+ Ensure project completion within the given timeline

Essential Skills

+ At least 6 months of experience in construction, landscaping, concrete, or outdoor work

+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools

+ Ability to travel for weeks at a time

+ Willingness to obtain a DOT physical card

+ Reliable transportation

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with concrete and carpentry

+ Ability to work long hours and in varying weather conditions

+ Good physical stamina and manual dexterity

Why Work Here?

We offer a vehicle and gas card upon hire. Candidates can

expect to earn upwards of $100k with overtime. We cover lodging and provide a

$50/day per diem or meals during out-of-town jobs.

Work Environment

The job involves working Monday to Saturday with 50-60 hour weeks and 10-hour days. Jobs are indoors and typically take 2-3 weeks from start to finish. Lodging is covered by the company with a $50/day per diem or meals. Site locations vary, including states like MT, CO, WI, CT, GA, FL, and IA. For local work in Minnesota, candidates may drive to the site with compensation for mileage or report to the shop and travel with the crew. For longer distances, the company will pay for flights.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
