    Aloha! One of Hawaii's Fire & Security Partners has openings for their role as a Technician. In this role, he/she will be primarily conducting testing of fire alarms, fire extinguishers, and kitchen hoods. Additional items may include sprinklers, and fire hydrants.

    Description

    - Schedule fire alarm, fire suppression system and fire extinguisher inspections

     

    - Run test and inspection on fire alarm and fire suppression systems

     

    - Coordinate with the local fire department to avoid response to testing

     

    - Must adhere to company safety policies and procedures

     

    - Must be able to develop and complete NFPA testing documents for client

     

    - Repair system if necessary or inform the Service Department of customer needs

     

    - Advise customer of test and inspection results

     

    - Other duties as assigned

     

    Skills

     

    fire inspection, fire alarm system, NICET2, NICET3, C-20

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    -Able to life 75lbs+

    - Industry certifications (e.g., NICET, ESA, or manufacturer-specific training) are a plus.

     

    -Any prior experience with working w/ burglar alarms, video surveillance, access control, and fire

     

    -Any prior experience with pulling wire

     

    -Must have valid Driver's License (abstract will be pulled)

     

    Work Environment

    -Monday-Friday 7am-430pm, with potential for overtime and on-call work

    -Lot of driving. Employee has vehicle assigned to them and is allowed to take care home but cannot use for personal use.

     

    -Occasional inter-island travel (per-diem)

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $62400.00/yr.
