We values our incredible CNAs and want to ensure they practice at top of their license to better optimize their skills and experience. We’ve also developed a career path framework for CNAs that clarifies paths to move, develop and advance CNA careers into nursing and other roles. The CNA provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

+ Previous patient care experience preferred; on the job training

+ Good verbal and written skills

+ Basic clerical, computer data entry and math skills

+ HS/GED required

+ Basic Life Support through American Heart Association required

+ Certified CardiographerTechnician required (Cardiovascular Credentialing International)Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) OR Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) from CardiovascularCredentialing International(CCI) within 18 months of starting this role

Physical Requirements Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Penrose - St. Francis Health Services is a full-service, 712-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs comprised of Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Hospital and St. Francis Hospital - Interquest. Penrose Hospital serves as the anchor hospital of Penrose-St. Francis Health Services with 300-licensed beds and the ability to provide tertiary (high tech) medical-surgical services with an emphasis on elective and outpatient care.
